The Peacocks head into the game having a mixed set of results on their travels, having gained four points from trips to Chertsey Town and Swindon Supermarine before being beaten by Sholing at the weekend. Taunton Town are now comfortably in mid table with five games to go and will have half an eye on building towards next season while trying to finish the season on a high. Totton will be coming to Somerset hoping to close the gap on leaders Merthyr Town at the top of the table.
The Hampshire side have won three of their last five games and most recently won 3-0 at Hungerford Town. They count among their ranks former football league stars Charlie Austin and Scott Rendell, both of whom scored against the Berkshire side on Saturday. The Peacocks will hoping to avoid a repeat of their encounter earlier in the season as AFC Totton ran out 5-1 winners in October.
