The Class A No. 4 Lincoln Southwest girls basketball team outscored No. 5 Papillion-La Vista South 15-4 when it mattered most, in the fourth quarter, for a 54-48 win Friday night.
Kaytee Irons and Kallen Stauffer each scored 12 points to lead Southwest. Lincoln Southeast 43, Columbus 29: The Knights picked up their first win of the season behind Lauryn Horn's 17 points. Lincoln Christian 70, Lincoln Lutheran 16: Mattea Kassebaum's 17 points led the Crusaders to a blowout win over the Warriors.
Norris 60, Elkhorn 41: The Class B No. 6 Titans took it to the Antlers from the beginning, outscoring them 17-4 in the first quarter. Ray Wegner led Norris with 15 points.
Hastings 56, Lincoln Northwest 31: The Falcons won the opening quarter 10-4 before the Tigers turned their play up a notch. Alivia Clemmons led Lincoln Northwest with 18 points. People are also reading.

3 Bluejays dominated from the opening tip Friday as they led 18-6 after the first quarter. With Friday's win, the Bluejays improve to 4-0. BOYS WRESTLING Lincoln Christian 60, Lincoln Lutheran 18: The Crusaders dominated their rival on the scoreboard, but in the weight classes that were filled by both teams, Lincoln Christian and Lincoln Lutheran split with each school winning three.
North Platte 61, Lincoln North Star 15: The Gators won three matches in their dual with Carter Geschke at 144, Marcus Wynne at 190 and Hector Hosey at 285 pounds.
