LAKESIDE 28, SOUTH AIKEN 19 South Aiken suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Lakeside on Friday night. The T-Breds (1-1) begin Region 4-AAAA play next Friday at North Augusta. BLYTHEWOOD 34, MIDLAND VALLEY 7 Blythewood took the lead for good in the second quarter, taking a 20-7 lead on the way to a 34-7 victory.

Next up for the Mustangs (0-2) is a home game Friday against Lexington. DIXIE 34, FOX CREEK 24 Dixie scored the final 13 points to beat Fox Creek in the Predators' season opener. Fox Creek (0-1) is on the road against next Friday against Glenn Hills.
