Mason Drake, RB, Loyola The 5-foot-9, 160-pound junior is on a roll. He’s collected three 100-yard rushing efforts in his past four games, including a 171-yard night on 16 carries last week vs. Woodlawn.

Look for him as a receiving threat out of the backfield against BTW, too. Christian Maxie, RB, Byrd This sophomore averages 16.4 yards per carry and 137.

The Benton Tigers have their work cut out for them. DeMarkus Evans, WR, Evangel The Parkway transfer has played in just four games this season, but he’s already tied for the team lead in receptions (40). He’s complied 522 receiving yards (130-.

5 per game) and one touchdown. The junior will look to add to that total when the Eagles host Haughton. Kameron Harris, S, Minden The Crimson Tide defense, including this junior safety could be licking their chops.

The Bearkats have scored just 90 points this season and Harris as already corralled three interceptions. Christian Blackmon, LB, Northwood This senior leads the Falcons and ranks in the top 10 locally in tackles (63) this season. He’ll look add to his interception total (currently at 1) as Southwood’s Cornelious Martin has thrown nine in 2024.
