Marcus Rashford is sparking more interest in the Premier League following his loan move to Aston Villa. After leaving Manchester United on loan in January, Marcus Rashford has been trying to rejuvenate his career at Aston Villa in the hope of earning a big summer move.Rashford has done reasonably well at Villa Park, scoring five goals and registering three assists in 22 games under Unai Emery, but he is far from his best from that he previously showed at United.
After a bright start at Villa, Rashford earned a place in Thomas Tuchel’s initial England squad and started in both matches. However, the United loanee has made an impact on Emery after taking Ollie Watkins’ place in the team, despite ruffling his counterpart’s feathers by getting a starting role in recent weeks.Things might be looking up for Rashford, but it’s still a far cry from Rashford’s Barcelona dream that emerged before he left Old Trafford in January.

According to The Sun, Crystal Palace are plotting a swoop for Rashford if Villa change their mind about signing the England forward on a permanent deal.It is understood that Palace executives are monitoring the striker’s form at Villa and they are interested in talking to the player at the end of the season.Palace are currently 12th in the Premier League – two places above United – and have qualified for the FA Cup semi-final against Villa under Oliver Glasner, who has an exciting squad consisting of players such as Adam Wharton, Eberechi Eze and Ismaila Sarr.

”Rashford return not ruled outUnited could find themselves in a dilemma if Villa back out of signing Rashford and he doesn’t reach an agreement with any of the potential suitors. The Sun’s report claims a return to Old Trafford has not been ruled out given United’s goalscoring problems, even though Rashford was unable to fix them before his temporary exit. However, a Rashford return would depend on whether he heals his relationship with head coach Amorim.
United are planning a major summer clearout which is likely to include Rashford..
