The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $69 million with a cash option of $32.2 million. The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.
m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.
com will publish the winning numbers immediately following the conclusion of the drawing. While no one across the country hit Monday’s $58 million jackpot, a second-prize $2 million ticket was sold in Colorado. It’s worth twice the standard $1 million because the winner spent an extra $1 for the Power Play option.
The ticket matched five numbers but not the Powerball. In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket. Monday’s winning numbers were: 9, 30, 33, 57 and 61 .
The Powerball drawn was 17 , with a Power Play of 2X . In addition, no one on Monday won the secondary, $10 million Double Play jackpot. Those winning numbers were: 2, 7, 15, 21 and 56 .
The Double Play number drawn was 12 . The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
