Potentia Capital snaps up Tokyo software start-up

Private equity investor Potentia Capital has jointly acquired fast-growing Japanese HR software company.

Login Potentia Capital, the private equity firm run by former MYOB chief executive Tim Reed and veteran investor Andy Gray, is searching for more deals in Japan after snapping up a fast-growing Japanese HR software company. The Australian software investor has jointly acquired Jinjer, one of Japan’s fast-growing HR software-as-a-service players, alongside Japanese private equity firm J-Star.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but The Australian Financial Review understands Jinjer was valued at around $500 million.
