The Four Seasons Cup will reside in a different county other than Antrim this winter as Portaferry and Slaughtneil go head-to-head in the final of the Ulster Club SHC final. The Derry champions have lost the last two deciders to Dunloy and Cushendall, but came through a classic semi-final slog against the Ruairi Óg’s . Indeed, no team has as much experience of the Ulster Club Championship with Slaughtneil playing their ninth senior hurling final in 11 seasons having won the provincial title four times.

That performance was a huge step-up on their previous showing in Ulster when they suffered a 19-point loss to Slaughtneil in Corrigan Park in 2022. The Ulster winners will progress to play the champions of Munster in the All-Ireland Club SHC semi-final later this month.
