Southwick Beer Festival returns May 23–24 with local ales, cider, food and live music at Southwick Community Centre.

A popular beer festival is set to return for two days of festivities. Southwick Beer Festival will be held at the Southwick Community Centre, West Sussex, on Friday, May 23, and Saturday, May 24. The festival will feature a variety of cask and keg beers, along with a dedicated cider bar.

The centre bar will also be open, serving spirits and wines. The festival aims to raise funds for the community centre, while also providing a "sociable, relaxed, and fun-filled celebration" for the community. The event will be accompanied by live music, with local band KXB performing on Friday evening.

On Saturday, Lee Pryor will bring family-friendly vibes to the garden, while Emma Olsen and the Shoreham Allstars will perform in the barn. The festival will conclude on Saturday evening with a performance by No Pressure. A variety of food will also be available, including a barbecue in the garden, curries, sweet treats, and snacks.

Beer prices have been kept the same as last year, £2.50 for half a pint and £5 for a pint. The festival will be held in three sessions: Friday from 6pm to 11pm, Saturday afternoon from 12pm to 4.

30pm, and Saturday evening from 6pm to 11pm. Tickets for Friday are £10, Saturday afternoon £7, and Saturday evening £8. A "both Saturday sessions" ticket is available for £13.

Families are welcome, with Saturday afternoon being particularly suitable. Children under 16 can enter for free with an adult. The festival promises to be an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a weekend of good drinks, food, and entertainment.
