THE Port Moresby Private Companies Netball Competition hosted their awards night last Saturday. This follows a successful season 2024-2025, where those that featured in the respective grandfinals were recognised for their efforts throughout the season. The presentation included awards for best umpires, minor premiers, and individual awards for best shooter, defender and mid-court players.
Competition President Julie Mai acknowledged everyone who showed support. “On behalf of the executives, we would like to thank all the members of PCNC for your continued support and cooperation in ensuring success of the 2024-2025 season.” Mai also thanked Vodafone PNG for being the major sponsor of the competition this year, UMPIRE AWARDS: Most Improved – Kerna Sauna; Most Improved – Dessireh Maliaku; Most Consistent – Sonny Kemu; Most Consistent – Kilarawali Koupa.
