Home Alone has been crowned the nation’s favourite Christmas film of all time, a new nationwide survey has revealed. The study found the 90s family favourite starring Macauley Culkin won 13% of the vote, beating out competition from 1946’s It’s a Wonderful Life (9%) and the Richard Curtis festive rom-com, Love Actually (9%). Also landing amongst the top ten, the hotly debated Die Hard is the nation’s fourth favourite festive flick of all time, despite director John McTiernan denying it’s a Christmas movie.
