Andhra CM's assertion that the previous YSRCP government used animal fat instead of ghee in Tirupati laddoos has ignited controversy. YV Subba Reddy, former chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, challenges this claim, stating he can swear on Lord Venkateswara. The government cites a lab report suggesting the presence of fish and beef oil.

Andhra CM has stirred a hornet's nest with his claim that the previous YSRCP government used animal fat instead of ghee in Tirupati laddoos . Now, YV Subba Reddy , ex-chairman of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam , has said he is ready to swear on Lord Venkateswara to prove no such thing happened. The government, however, said that it has a lab report, which says 'there could be fish and beef oil in the fat used in the laddoos'.
