Politics LIVE: Keir Starmer to face huge grilling from MPs in major showdown

Sir Keir Starmer faces a major grilling from MPs today ahead of Parliament's Easter break. The Prime Minister will take questions from the Liaison Committee, which is made up of Select Committee chairs, at 2.30pm.

He will likely be quesioned on tariffs, farming, defence and welfare cuts among a host of other topics. The group of senior MPs take the PM to task on policy around three times a year. Sir Keir made his first appearance in front of the group last December following his July 2024 election win.
