Mumbai: Heating up the political air in Worli ahead of the state assembly polls, Kalyan Lok Sabha MP and Shiv Sena leader Shrikant Shinde on Sunday visited the assembly constituency represented by rival Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray , as part of his Jan Samvad Yatra. "We are meeting grassroots workers and reviewing the situation on the ground in preparation for the elections and also promoting the state govt's welfare schemes. This yatra across various constituencies is not about staking claim on any seat," said Shrikant.
Asserting that Shiv Sena is fully prepared to contest polls in Worli, he quickly added: "Senior Mahayuti leaders will decide on the seat sharing and the candidates for the polls."
