A warning has been issued by police ahead of a Rangers Ultras 'street party' before the club's Europa League match.

A warning has been issued by police ahead of a Rangers Ultras 'street party' before the club's Europa League clash. Gers fans are set to host a ' Copland Stairs Street Party ' before the club's match against Athletic Bilbao at Ibrox on Thursday, April 10. The Union Bears recently called for supporters to 'bring the noise and colour' for the quarter-final game.

READ MORE: Rangers Ultras to march from Glasgow station to Ibrox The gathering will start at 6.30pm, shortly before kick-off at 8pm. Ahead of the 'street party', cops have said they are 'aware' of a 'possible gathering of fans' at the Copland Stairs.



Due to this, officers have urged anyone heading to the event to be 'respectful of the local community in the area'. (Image: PA) Meanwhile, the force also revealed a 'proportionate policing plan is in place' for the Gers match. Cops said they will continue to 'work closely' with their partners, including both clubs, to maintain public safety and minimise any disruption.
