POLICE REPORTS: Woman caught on camera stealing purse from vehicle

Someone vandalized a vehicle in the 500 block of Cunningham Drive around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.



Someone broke a window at a home in the 1000 block of Markus Avenue around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Harassment was reported in the 4400 block of South Medford Drive around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Someone burglarized a food truck in the 700 block of South Timberland Drive between 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and 11:30 a.

m. Wednesday. A woman said her Lone Star card was used to make unauthorized purchases in the 100 block of Percy Simond Avenue around 2:30 p.

m. Wednesday. The Lufkin Police Department made six arrests late Wednesday or early Thursday.

Arrests and charges include: Flynt Jerold Hagood, 38, of Lufkin, public intoxication; Angelito Puente, 33, of Diboll, warrants for possession of less than 1 gram of a penalty group 1-B controlled substance, no insurance, failure to control speed and driving while license invalid; Matthew Thomas Havard, 60, of Lufkin, warrants for three counts of theft of less than $20, five counts of no driver’s license, two counts of no insurance, two counts of displaying expired license plates, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia; Andrea Hernandez Torres, 35, of Lufkin, warrant for no insurance (second); Jose Eduardo Lopez, 25, of Lufkin, warrant for criminal trespassing; and Derricka Deri Marshall, 27, of Beaumont, engaging in organized criminal activity. The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests late Wednesday or early Thursday. Arrests and charges include: Willie Earl Lewis, 43, of Lufkin, warrants for cruelty to non-livestock animals and bail jumping and failure to appear; Courtney Cheyanne Moreno, 33, of Cleveland, warrant for credit or debit card abuse; and Antonio Dywayne Garrett, 29, of Lufkin, warrant for a parole violation for robbery.

The Angelina County Jail housed 251 inmates as of 7 p.m. Thursday.
