Dec. 5, non-injury crash, White Salmon. Nov.

30, a skateboarder was unable to stop at a Bingen stop sign and hit a vehicle, causing injury. Three animal calls. Lost dog returned, canceled, unable to find dog.

Three thefts. Propane in Bingen ultimately paid for, unspecified, e-bike. Officers dispatched an injured cougar in White Salmon Dec.

7. Child abuse reported. Burglary in White Salmon Dec.

2. Hood River Sheriff, Nov. 1 - 30 The following charges resulted in arrests: Assault (two), burglary (one), DUII (three), escape (two); harassment (one), mischief (one), violations of release agreement (one), stalking order (one), restraining order (one); weapons violation (one), warrant (11).

Notable incidents Nov. 3, responded to a trespass report on Rawson Road and arrested one person on charges of first-degree burglary and violation of release agreement. Nov.

5, minor cited for possession of liquor; and Nov. 22, minor cited for possession of marijuana at Hood River Valley High School. Nov.

5, arrested one on warrants and charges of escape and felon in possession of weapon. Nov. 6, victim of a car prowl had their bank account compromised.

Five non-injury traffic crashes: Nov. 6, two-vehicle crash at Tucker/Barker roads; Nov. 15, no location; Nov.

Two extortion reports: Nov. 8, suspect tried to extort a victim using photos, referred to District Attorney’s office; and Nov. 27, report of online extortion.

Two vehicles stolen; no location, 6500 block Allen Road. Three injury crashes. Nov.

9, single vehicle rolled on Odell Hwy at Webb Drive. Nov. 26, single vehicle on Dee Hwy near Iowa Drive.

Nov. 29, single vehicle. Two hit-and-runs; parked vehicle at residence, another near Cooper Spur/Hwy 35.

Three unattended deaths. Cascade Locks, Nov. 12 and Nov.

20; no location, Nov. 23. Three thefts.

Two batteries from excavator, theft by deception, package from porch. Nov. 12, slashed tire.

Nov. 17, vehicle crash, no comments. Three burglaries.

Nov. 17, two reports: Cold burglary at Juanita’s; burglary near SE Jackson Roberts. Aggravated assault report.

Nov. 28, several items from shop. One fraud complaint.

Nov. 18, arrested an adult in Cascade Locks on charges of assault IV, harassment and criminal mischief III. Child neglect reported.

Nov. 27, arrested an adult for eluding after a short pursuit. Nov.

28, deputies helped HRPD with wrong-way driver crashed near milepost 63, I-84. Hood River Police, Dec. 1 - 7 The following are crimes which resulted in arrests: Assault (two), disorderly conduct (three), DUII (one), drug law violation (one), interfere with making police report (one), menacing (two), robbery (one), strangulation (one), trespass (one), warrant (one).

Notable incidents One non-resident arrested on charges of DUII - marijuana. Officers responded to a residence after a calling described an adult male wielding a knife. The male was lodged at NORCOR on charges of menacing, disorderly conduct, interfere with making a report and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Two days later, the same person was lodged at NORCOR for trespass. Two days after that, the same person was lodged at NORCOR on charges of attempted robbery, menacing and disorderly conduct. One person lodged at NORCOR on charges of assault and strangulation.

An adult reported unwanted social media messages from another. Officers towed vehicle for driver lacking driving privileges, no insurance and driving recklessly. Three hit-and-run reports.

The Dalles Police, Dec. 6 - 11 The following are crimes which resulted in arrests: Assault (one), DUII (three), escape (one), harassment (one), hit-and-run (two), possession of controlled substance (one), reckless driving (one), trespass (four), warrant (three). Notable incidents Eighty-five mental health calls.

Someone tried to report a bus on I-84 as being full of possible “illegal immigrants,” because it contained adults and luggage and was missing a mudflap. Dec. 6, missing person report on 10th Street.

Child neglect reported. 13 animal calls. Dogs shut in cars, at large, underweight.

Two hit-and-runs. Dec. 6, a reporting party was hit at the E.

12th/Thompson Street stop sign. The suspect left on foot after saying they lacked insurance. A relative followed the suspect down 12th, noting they took out a 4-inch folding knife.

Suspect booked on charges of DUII and hit-and-run. Dec. 7, parked car.

Two thefts. $1,500 snowblower, tools. Dec.

8, person transported to hospital for possible overdose. Officers helped Wasco County Sheriff’s deputies with a DUII crash on Chenowith Dec. 9.

Driver transported to area hospital for seizures, after deputies broke the car window to get them help; one person charged. One crash report. Dec.

10, D21 school bus and Honda Accord crashed at W. Second/Webber, and both required tows. One driver cited.

Wasco County Sheriff, Dec. 6 - 10 Notable incidents One mental health call. Deputies logged 18 vehicle stops.

Nine dogs, one other animal calls. One ID theft and one fraud reported. Four thefts.

W. 13th, Hwy 216 (two), Hwy 197 access road. A DUII crash on Chenowith.

Oregon State Police, Dec. 6 - 11 The following are crimes which resulted in arrests: Driving suspended or revoked (two), DUII (one), reckless driving (one). Notable incidents A Kia stolen from Wenatchee, Washington, was found abandoned in a pullout near milepost 76, I-84 westbound and recovered.

Dec. 7, driver arrested on charges of DUII, misdemeanor driving while suspended or revoked and reckless driving after a driving complaint on Lone Pine. Two injury crashes.

Dec. 7, eastbound Toyota Rav4 lost control near milepost 51, I-84. It crashed into a median barrier, spun and hit a tree.

The driver, transported to area hospital for minor injury, stated a Carola cut them off. Dec. 8, vehicle rolled SR-19, Wheeler County, after losing control in snow, crossing lanes and rolling into a creekbed.

Wheeler County deputies, ODOT, Fossil Fire and Rescue and Spray ambulance reported; the seriously injured driver was LifeFlighted to Richland, Wash. They reported falling asleep. Dec.

8, driver on I-84 cited for side-swiping a CAT bus, causing minor scratches. Dec. 9, Chevrolet pickup lost control on icy Hwy 97, slid across lanes and onto shoulder.
