The Lufkin Police Department did not release a daily media report Tuesday. The Lufkin Police Department made two arrests late Monday or early Tuesday. Arrests and charges include: Cruz Alonso Rodriguez Jr.
, 49, of Lufkin, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a dangerous drug; and Carl Raymond White, 20, of Lufkin, unlawful carrying of a weapon, possession of a dangerous drug and a warrant for interfering with an emergency call or request for assistance. The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests late Monday or early Tuesday. Arrests and charges include: Krystal Nicole Whinery, 39, of Lufkin, warrant for forgery; Curtis Daniel Free, 26, of Lufkin, warrant for failure to appear for possession of a dangerous drug; and Emmanuel Marquez, 28, of Lufkin, warrants for delivery of between 1/4 ounce and 5 pounds of marijuana and manufacture or delivery of 1-4 grams of a penalty group 2 controlled substance.
The Texas Department of Public Safety made two arrests late Monday or early Tuesday. Arrests and charges include: Jeremiah Shane Jensen, 42, of Lufkin, possession of 1-4 grams of a penalty group 2 controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana and unlawful carrying of a weapon; and Corey Micheal Wayne Boyd, 32, of Lufkin, warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. The Angelina County Jail housed 240 inmates as of 4:30 p.
m. Tuesday..
