Police issue winter security advice for households across Wrexham

Residents are being urged to make sure that their property is secure and that lights are left on when the property is unoccupied this winter. Officers from NWP Wrexham Rural have been out reaching out to home owners and leafletting properties that appear empty during patrols in the area on Sunday evening. The winter months often see a rise in opportunistic burglaries due to the early evenings.
