Police investigating late night forced entry while occupants at home

POLICE are investigating an incident in which entry was forced into someone's home on the Isle of Wight during the early hours of the morning while occupants were inside. Officers were called to Simeon Street in Ryde at 1.38am yesterday (Sunday, September 8).

The householders were inside the property at the time of the incident, a Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said. "We are currently carrying out inquiries into this incident. No arrests have been made at the current time," the force said.
