The Kano State Police Command has recovered two tricycles stolen by suspected thieves and handed them over to their rightful owners. According to a statement released on Thursday by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna, the recovery was made possible through a well-coordinated intelligence-led raid on criminal hideouts in Dambatta LGA, Kano State, on December 9, 2024. “During the operation, two suspects, Ado Yusuf, 40 and Rabi’u Suleiman, 35, were arrested, and the two tricycles were recovered from them,” Haruna said.
He said on preliminary investigations, the suspects could not give a satisfactory account of the tricycles. “Following the Command’s Press Conference of 10th December 2024, on December 17, 2024, the owner of one of the tricycles, with registration number KGM 246VC, appeared at the Command’s Headquarters.
