Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has just announced on its social media platforms that it will be launching the Poco X7 Pro on the 9th of January, 2025 . The launch event will be taking place at 8:00 PM. Yes, the Poco X7 Pro is indeed a rebadged Redmi Turbo 4 and will be sold as its international market twin.

The Redmi Tubro 4 on the other hand will make its launch in China on the 2nd of January, 2025. This will make the Redmi Turbo 4 the first device from the Xiaomi camp to launch in 2025. As expected, both devices feature rather similar designs with a vertically aligned rear camera island and flat sides.

However, the colour options they will be offered in might just be what differentiates them, at least when looking at their respective press images. The Poco X7 Pro can be seen wearing a black and yellow dual-tone back cover, which gives it a more youthful and to a certain extent, gaming vibe. The Redmi Turbo 4 on the other hand sports a more minimalistic white back cover and a thin red line vertically running across it.

The Poco X7 Pro is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 chip, which could make it the first globally sold smartphone to feature the chipset. Other speculated details of the Poco X7 Pro include a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display, a dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.

As for battery, the Poco X7 Pro is said to sport a 6,550mAh battery and will support Xiaomi’s 90W wired charging tech. [ SOURCE 2 ].
