Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Varanasi, his Lok Sabha constituency on April 11, tomorrow. He will inaugurate 44 developmental projects worth Rs 3,880 Crore. The event will take place in Ring Road, outside of the city limits at around 11 AM.
Modi’s Varanasi Visit Modi will arrive at Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport around 10 AM and then he will attend the event. The venue is selected on the basis of better access for the rural people. He will attend one more public meeting in Mehndiganj.
The whole event will continue for two and a half hours. According to the source, there will be a gathering of around 50,000 people or more. 3,880 Cr. Rural Development Kaushal Raj Sharma, Divisional Commissioner of Varanasi mentioned that the upcoming projects to be inaugurated, includes 130 drinking water projects, 100 new Anganwadi centres, 356 rural libraries, Sardar vallabhbhai patel government college at Barki Village and a polytechnic college in Pindra. Infrastructure In the area of infrastructure development, the PM will inaugurate several road projects for better road connectivity in the region of Varanasi.
As per reports, a budget of Rs. 652.64 Cr will be invested in a construction project of a six-lane tunnel under the expansion of Babatpur airport.
Also a project of road bridge construction between Varanasi Ring Road and Sarnath alongwith flyovers at Bhikharipur and Manduadih crossings will be inaugurated. He will also lay the foundation stone of two 400 KV and one 220 KV transmission substations and associated transmission lines at Jaunpur, Chandauli and Ghazipur districts which will be worth over Rs 1,045 Cr.
A transit hostel at the police lines and police barracks will also be inaugurated by him. A mini stadium will also be built in Shivpur. Modi’s MP Visit On the same day, he will travel to Madhya Pradesh and will perform darshan and puja in Guru Ji Maharaj temple around 3.
