Qatar tribune QNA Beirut Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met with Caretaker Prime Minister of Lebanon Najib Mikati in Beirut on Tuesday. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and the ways to boost them along with several regional and international issues. The prime minister also met with Prime Minister-designate of Lebanon Dr Nawaf Salam.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the two countries and the ways to enhance them, in addition to a number of regional and international issues. The PM expressed Qatar’s aspiration for the completion of the formation of the new Lebanese government to achieve the aspirations of the Lebanese people for progress, development and prosperity. Sheikh Mohammed also met with Speaker of Lebanon Nabih Berri.
During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, as well as developments in southern Lebanon. The Lebanese parliament speaker thanked Qatar for its continuous support to Lebanon since 2006, and its ongoing efforts to rebuild Lebanon. Copy 05/02/2025 10.
