Following the leaks for the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro XL, we now have our first look at the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Initial renders indicate a design language that closely mirrors its predecessor – the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The camera module’s dimensions appear consistent, suggesting potential carry-over or similar sensor specifications from the previous generation.
As confirmed last September, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, codenamed “Rango,” is anticipated to feature Google’s Tensor G5 processor, manufactured by TSMC. While detailed specifications remain scarce, the device is expected to maintain the RAM and storage configurations of its predecessor, offering 16GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. There is an underlying expectation that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will boast a slimmer profile, but that’s not necessarily going to happen. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold was the thinnest foldable on the market when it launched, so if Google doesn’t manage to trim it down further, it won’t be a big deal. Google is expected to launch the Pixel 10 Pro Fold alongside the rest of the Pixel 10 series in August, consistent with the previous year’s release strategy.
This would mean a simultaneous debut for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold at a Made by Google event at some point just a few months from now. Featured Videos X remove ads As Android Headlines reports, sources suggest a potential price reduction might be on the way for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. This move would fly in the face of the prevailing trend among other manufacturers who are either maintaining or increasing prices.
A price adjustment from Google could position the Pixel 10 Pro Fold competitively in the premium foldable market for sure! For now, this is all we know about the next foldable from Google. If things largely remain the same and the processor gets a boost, maybe the screen gets a fraction better and the price comes down a bit, I think Google could have a winner on its hands with its latest Fold.
