-- Pittsburgh football coach Pat Narduzzi was effusive in his praise of Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord last Friday when meeting with Pitt reporters to discuss this week’s showdown with Syracuse. Narduzzi was complimentary of the work Fran Brown has done in his first season, the ability of Fadil Diggs to move all over the field on defense and the presence of tight end Oronde Gadsden II. However, he saved his most glowing -- and amusing words -- for discussing McCord.
