In response, the administration has decided to take strong measures to curb speeding vehicles on roads passing through the forest. The number of wild animals, including tigers, is steadily increasing in the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. However, in recent years, speeding vehicles have proven to be fatal for these wild animals.

In recent years, numerous wildlife, including tigers and leopards, have fallen victim to such accidents. To address this, the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve administration will take steps to control high-speed vehicles. In addition to installing signboards along the forest routes, patrols will be intensified.

The current system of barriers along the forest route will also be improved. There are discussions about restricting the entry of vehicles into the forest as well. However, the effectiveness of these measures remains uncertain.

Deputy Director of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, Manish Singh, shared further details, stating that: “In addition to installing signboards, reflectors and speed breakers will be set up to ensure vehicles passing through the forest adhere to the speed limit. Passersby are urged to drive their vehicles within the prescribed speed limit while crossing through the forest.".
