Pierce Brosnan is on board for another installment of the Mamma Mia franchise. The 71-year-old actor, who played Sam Carmichael in the 2008 hit movie musical and its 2018 sequel Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again , recently revealed that he supports the idea of making a third film in the series. “I think everyone is ready for Mamma Mia 3 .

Let’s see what happens. It would be wonderful to do it. Yeah, why not? We’ve come this far,” he told ET in a new interview.

The comment comes a month after Amanda Seyfried , who played the lead character Sophie in the films, also said that she’d be open to revisiting the Mamma Mia universe.
