Edmundo Sosa entered Tuesday night having played 953 professional baseball games. None of them had ever been in the outfield, not for the Phillies or in the minor leagues. But with Philadelphia looking for a way to get Sosa in the lineup, he was sent out to left field in Atlanta, his first pro start at any outfield position.

And it took just three batters for him to make a play most outfielders spend their careers dreaming about. Marcell Ozuna launched a high fly ball deep toward the left field bullpen. Sosa ranged back.
