A petition has been filed to wind up a firm that sought to raise tens of millions of euro from Chinese investors keen to avail of Ireland’s now-scrapped Immigrant Investment Programme.

A petition has been filed to wind up a firm that sought to raise tens of millions of euro from Chinese investors keen to avail of Ireland’s now-scrapped Immigrant Investment Programme. The company, Castle Rook, is controlled by Dundalk-based Canadian woman Candace Lafleur. It most recently listed several Northern Ireland and UK-based Asian nationals as shareholders, as well as one based in Co Louth.
