Personnel moves at Globalstar, Port of New Orleans

Marino has held a number of executive roles in Jefferson Parish government, most recently as senior assistant parish attorney. She was also chief administrative assistant to the Parish President's Office, director of inspection and code enforcement, and assistant district attorney.

She earned a bachelor's in economics from the University of Michigan and a law degree from Tulane Law School. - Globalstar has added two employees to its leadership team. Tamer Kadous will head the terrestrial spectrum and network solutions business.



He is a former vice president of wireless engineering at XCOM Labs and senior director of engineering at Qualcomm. He earned a doctorate in wireless communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a graduate of the Wharton School's General Management Program. Daaman Hejmadi will lead the wholesale satellite capacity business.

Before joining Globalstar, Hejmadi held various executive positions, including vice president of engineering at Qualcomm and corporate vice president at Intel. He earned a bachelor's in physics/electronics from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, a bachelor's in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, a master's in computer science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master's in organizational behavior and finance from the University of California, Berkeley..
