Penang police chief Comm Datuk Hamzah Ahmad said the suspects, comprising two men and three women, were arrested after four raids were conducted simultaneously in Penang from 4pm on Tuesday (Oct 15) to 5am on Wednesday (Oct 16). "The suspects are locals aged 24 to 36 years old who were involved in trafficking marijuana.
"They were arrested at a parking lot in George Town. "Also seized from them was a bag containing 35 packs of marijuana weighing 20.1kg worth RM65,960," said Hamzah in a statement on Thursday (Oct 17).
