On Saturday, April 5, the Tangipahoa Parish Library presented its 2025 Young Woman of Excellence Award to Isabella Pellichino. Isabella is a 10th grade student at Loranger High School with a 4.0 GPA.
She is a leader at her school and in her community, staying active in extracurricular activities such as the Interact Club and planning and carrying out such projects as a Christmas toy drive that provided presents to over 50 of her fellow students. Isabella also was a prominent participant in visits to the Lodge at Tangi Pines, a senior care facility. She is an integral part of Loranger High’s Teacher Appreciation Committee, was on the school’s Principal’s List for 2025 and was a member of the Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Students, Color Guard, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) and the Loranger High Yearbook committee.
