Dec 14, 1936 Dec 13, 2024 Our beloved mother, grandmother, greatgrand mother, and aunt, Peggy H. Norrell of WinstonSalem, NC, and Lakeland, FL, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was born on December 14, 1936, to the late Pauline Virginia Trull and Paul Alexander Hurlocker.

Peggy graduated from Old Town High School. She married James R. Norrell on April 20, 1958.

They were married almost 60 years before "Jimmy" preceded her in death on November 28, 2017. During her working years, she was a bookkeeper for office supply companies. Peggy met many lifelong friends as she and Dad enjoyed years of square dancing and RVing with friends and family.

They loved "snow birding" in their Lakeland, FL community. She was a member of Hanes Baptist Church in WinstonSalem, NC, and tremendously loved her church family. She attended regularly until her health declined.

After Jimmy's death, Peggy resided at Clemmons Village II. She loved her new home, and everyone at Clemmons Village II was very loving, caring and sincerely compassionate for Peggy and her well-being. This was a great blessing to her and her family.

Momma, Mamaw, and Great Mamaw will be greatly missed, and we know she is in Heaven and is no longer in pain. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret H. Etheridge; brother, Clyde B.
