Reports have been ordered into a Peebles woman who admitted assaulting a police officer.

BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Peebles woman who admitted assaulting a police officer. Forty-two-year-old Hannah Mitchell pleaded guilty to kicking the female officer on the head to her injury on a journey to Hawick Police Station on May 14. She also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and acting aggressively in Myresbank, Peebles, on May 30, during a dispute with her partner.

Sentence was deferred until March 31..
