Pedestrian dies in crash

The Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to the area of West Coleman Boulevard and MaGrath Darby Boulevard on November 19, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., in reference to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. This collision is still being investigated by the Mount Pleasant Police Department Traffic Division. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office will be releasing the name of the pedestrian.
