Pedestrian dies in A38 crash near Tewkesbury

A man has died following a crash on the A38 in Gloucestershire. Police were called to the road at Deerhurst Walton, near Tewkesbury, at around 4.50pm on Tuesday, December 17 following reports of a crash involving a Honda Civic and a pedestrian.

, but despite their best efforts, the pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead, Gloucestershire Police said. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by a specially trained officer. No one in the car was injured in the collision.



An investigation was carried out on the A38 overnight and , until around 6.30am today (Wednesday, December 18). Gloucestershire Police are now appealing for information from witnesses.
