"What we have seen over the last few weeks has been disappointing, but at the end of the day, it's water off a duck's back for me," Ms Anzellotti said.

"It's not going to stop me from putting my best foot forward and advocating for my community. "I hope that what has happened over the last few weeks hasn't deterred anyone else - especially other women - from stepping up to serve the community. "As a local school teacher, I've witnessed my fair share of childish, schoolyard behavior, but residents shouldn't have to deal with it when trying to make their choice in this two-horse race," she said.



"More importantly, residents should be able to take their kids to the playground without seeing stolen and inappropriately vandalized election material. "If I am elected on September 14, I hope to use my time on council to improve the culture and refocus council efforts on delivering much-needed services to residents."
