A vital piece of the Beermen dynasty that won eight championships from 2014 to 2019, Lassiter is no stranger to winning. When it comes to individual accomplishments, Lassiter has it as well being the PBA’s all-time leader in 3-pointers made. Lassiter, though, understands that whether he will make the prestigious club someday or not will not be up to him.

“That’s not up to me but I do feel like I need to do more, so to speak, but at the same time I want to continue helping my teammates,” said Lassiter in an interview with Inquirer Sports. “I hope that one day, I do make it because that’ll be a great honor and I’ll be very humbled for that.” So far in his celebrated career, the 37-year-old Lassiter has won 10 championships since being drafted by San Miguel Beer in 2011.

The veteran swingman may not have won a Season or Finals MVP yet but Lassiter has been a member of the Mythical First Team and All-Defensive Team with eight All-Star selections. He was also named PBA Comeback Player of the Year in 2013. Right now, though, Lassiter is just happy to see his good buddy and longtime teammate June Mar Fajardo be included on the Greatest list.

“He’s [Fajardo] been holding it down ever since he’s gotten here. He’s been a catalyst for us, very humble and great guy on and off the court,” Lassiter said. “Much of what he does is what makes us thrive so I’m truly honored to be his teammate and I’m just thankful and I’m very proud of him.
