The 28-year-old has shot to global fame over the last few years thanks to roles in projects such as Normal People , Aftersun and Gladiator II . US broadcaster NBC has now confirmed that he will front the episode of the iconic comedy and entertainment show SNL on Saturday, December 7, with music coming from Shaboozey . As tradition for the show, Mescal will appear in comedy sketches alongside the comedian ensemble and will also deliver his own monologue to kick off the show.
