The renowned Times journalist said: “Alcaraz quickly fell down the pecking order [at Flamengo] and his availability in the window piqued the interest of Everton, who had previously followed him, given the low-risk nature of the deal. “It is unusual for South American players to return to England for a second spell, but he is undeterred.”Everton manager David Moyes will have been impressed by Alcaraz’s performances so far.
