The New England Patriots will play their first and possibly only primetime game of the season on Thursday night. Traveling to East Rutherford, they will take on their division rival New York Jets in a battle of 1-1 teams. Their game day roster for the contest looks as follows: Quarterback (2): Jacoby Brissett (7), Drake Maye (10) Running back (3): Rhamondre Stevenson (38), Antonio Gibson (4), JaMycal Hasty (39) Wide receiver (6): DeMario Douglas (3), Ja’Lynn Polk (1), K.

The O-line will have to operate without starting left tackle Vederian Lowe, who suffered a knee injury in the fourth quarter versus Seattle.

In his place, third-round rookie Caedan Wallace is expected to draw his first career start. As depth behind him, the Patriots made post-cutdown waivers claim Demontrey Jacobs active for the first time. Also active are six wide receivers.

After leaving Javon Baker and Kayshon Boutte off the game day roster in Week 1 and 2, respectively, the two young pass catchers have both been called up to play against the Jets. The same is not true for No. 4 cornerback Marco Wilson.

He was benched after giving up a costly pass interference penalty last week, and the expectation is that Alex Austin will take over his position on the depth chart. Speaking of depth, Curtis Jacobs and Joe Giles-Harris will help provide just that at linebacker. With Ja’Whaun Bentley out due to what has been reported as a torn pectoral muscle, the former was made active for the first time since joining the team while the latter was elevated from the practice squad.
