The Kansas City Chiefs moved to 10-1 on the season with a win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, but Patrick Mahomes was still not satisfied. For one, while Mahomes said he's not turning any away any wins, the star quarterback did admit that having to win late in the game is getting a little old. Today, Mahomes drove his team downfield after the Panthers tied the game at 27, setting up a game-winning Spencer Shrader field goal as time expired.
Eight of Kansas City's 10 wins are by one score or less, and five have come down to the final play. It hasn't exactly been a stressful 10-1 start for the two-time defending Super Bowl champions. “You want to have some blowouts,’' Mahomes said, via Adam Teicher of ESPN.

Then again, both of the Chiefs' last two Super Bowl wins came down to the final play, including last year's walk-off in overtime against the San Francisco 49ers. In fact, in seven postseason games the past two years, six were decided by one score. Maybe this is just how the Chiefs do things and how they are going to continue doing them.
