of Wilton, NH Patricia Ann Adams, 89, of Wilton, NH, passed away peacefully at home with her family on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Born in Waltham, MA, Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late John Cavanaugh and Emily (Millar). She was a proud graduate of Waltham High School, Class of 1954.
A longtime resident of Chelmsford, MA, Patricia was an active member of her community. She was involved in the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion Post 313 in North Chelmsford. Throughout her career, she worked at Osco Drug on Wood Street in Lowell, MA, and previously at the Glenview Restaurant in Chelmsford.
Patricia was married to a former Chelmsford firefighter and had a deep love for her family and. She was a devoted mother and stepmother. A true Red Sox fan, she also found great joy in watching Christmas movies and classic sitcoms such as ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’.
Her favorite season was spring. She is survived by her children: Deborah and her husband Dennis Delworth of Wilton, NH; John ‘Jack’ Mahoney of Chelmsford, MA; and Scott A. Mahoney of Windham, NH; and Deborah and her husband Dennis Delworth of Wilton, NH.
She also leaves behind her stepdaughters: Ruth Adams of Nashua, NH,; and Heather and her husband Calvin Seng of Waukesha, WI. Patricia was predeceased by her husband Robert K. Adams, a former Chelmsford firefighter, her sons, David P.
Mahoney and Timothy M. Mahoney, and her stepdaughter, Dawn McClay. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
