Excelsior Correspondent UDHAMPUR, Jan 2: Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA of Udhampur East, addressed an enthusiastic gathering of party workers, local residents, and supporters at Jansal & Battal Balian. Reiterating his commitment to transforming the region into a model constituency, Pathania assured the public that his efforts would leave no stone unturned in ensuring the region’s growth. Pathania highlighted several major development projects set to shape the future of Udhampur East.
Among the most significant announcements was the commencement of PMGSY road projects, worth Rs 500 crores. He emphasized that these road networks will ensure seamless access to remote villages and towns, bringing much-needed infrastructure to the region. Pathania expressed his optimism for successful implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission under both the UT and district sectors.
He reaffirmed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s vision of “Har Ghar Ko Jal,” stressing that providing clean, filtered water to every household is not just a promise but a commitment of the Modi Sarkar. He assured the people that this crucial initiative would be delivered in the shortest possible time frame, improving the quality of life for all residents. In terms of infrastructure, Pathania shared his bold vision to make Udhampur East a hub for modern and metalled roads, ensuring that the constituency enjoys improved connectivity and accessibility.
He also underlined the importance of upgrading health services and announced plans for the upgradation of Tikri PHC and Majalta PHC to CHC level, ensuring higher-quality healthcare and better access for the people. Further addressing healthcare needs, he proposed the establishment of an Accidental Hospital in Manwal to handle emergencies, a facility that will save countless lives and cater to the needs of the people in rural and remote areas. Pathania also spoke about his vision for the youth of Udhampur East.
Recognizing the untapped potential in local talent, he outlined plans to create state-of-the-art sports facilities across various Panchayats. The gathering was also graced by several prominent leaders who shared their thoughts on the development of Udhampur East.
