Patchy drizzle, cloudy and cooler weather for the Southland

Thunderstorms likely for Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

Happy almost Friday. We're looking at partly cloudy skies today and precipitation this morning for most of the Southland. From the coasts to the valleys you can expect patchy drizzle through the morning.

Antelope valley could see some afternoon showers but the rest of the high desert and the low desert areas won't see any form of precipitation today. Daytime highs will be in the 70s for the valleys and inland areas, in the upper 60s to low 70s for the beaches. The inland coast will be mostly cloudy all day.



We are looking at a high of: There is a 30% chance of showers tonight for most of the Southland from the coasts to the valleys and mountains, except for the deserts. Tonight's lows will drop to the mid 50s and low 60s. Meanwhile, poor air quality will continue to linger until tonight as three major wildfires continue to burn in Southern California.
