Parish is the five-time defending state champion in TAPPS Division I. The last time they lost a playoff game was Dec. 1, 2018, against Bishop Dunne, in the TAPPS Division I State Semifinals.

Since then, they've rattled off 16 consecutive playoff wins, including multiple wins over Prestonwood in that span. Anderson holds the all-time record for passing yardage in a career by a player from the DFW area. He surpassed former Parish QB Preston Stone for that mark two weeks ago and continues to add to his total.

He has a chance to become just the fourth player in Texas high school football history to throw for more than 14,000 yards in a career if he can throw for another 320 yards between now and the end of the Panthers season. The Purdue commit has thrown for 4,140 yards and 43 touchdowns this year alone. He is joined by Marcus Hannish in the backfield.

Hannish has run for 644 yards and 11 touchdowns on the year to buoy the Parish run game. Carson Darby and Jaylen Pile are Anderson's favorite targets in the passing game, with both over 1,000 yards on the year. Glass leads the Prestonwood offense, combining for 30 touchdowns of his own in his first year as the Lions starter.

Taylor and Takashi Shaw comprise the run game for Prestonwood, with the two combining for nearly 1,600 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns on the season. Nick Wheeler and DC Crane lead the way for the Panthers' defense, which will have the unenviable task of trying to slow down a Lions team that scored 52 the last time these teams played and averaged 45 points per game this season. Meanwhile, the Lions' defense will rely on Joshua Bengard and Jack Harwell, to slow down a Parish offense that averaged 51.

9 points per game. Our Friday Night Football pregame show will begin at approximately 7:20 p.m.

CT, with kickoff to follow at 7:30 p.m. CT.
