Athletic equipment used at this year's Olympic Games in Paris has been given a new home at a gymnastics club in Jersey. Apparatus including a set of uneven bars and crash mats with the Paris 2024 logo, has been installed at Regent Gymnastics Club in St Helier. The club said a collaboration with the Independent Gymnastics Association (IGA) meant local athletes had the opportunity to train on the equipment used by medal-winning gymnasts at the Olympics.

Chris Adams, CEO of IGA, said the partnership was an "important step inspiring the gymnastics in our community". The club said the "top-tier apparatus" will give local athletes "a unique advantage in their development". "The club’s new training setup will offer gymnasts access to the latest in gymnastics technology and equipment, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed," it added.
