Limgas na Pangasinan-Grand 2023 Rona Lalaine Lopez was in the semifinals of the Miss Grand Philippines pageant that year, then joined the 2024 Hiyas ng Pilipinas pageant where she was crowned as Miss Continental World Philippines.

The three 2023 queens, from whom the province draws pride, were spotted during the 2025 Limgas na Pangasinan coronation show at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center in Lingayen on Friday evening, April 25. There, they witnessed their 2024 successors crown the new queens, who will be tasked to banner Pangasinan in national pageants this year and in 2026. Two of the former winners are set to compete this year.

Limgas na Pangasinan-Mutya 2024 Pearline Joy Bayog said she watched online in real time how De Ocampo won her national title. “I felt inspired because it was the crown that I actually chose during our press presentation, looking back,” she told INQUIRER.net in an interview.

“It really inspired me to work harder and prepare. Because Pangasinan is already setting its name in the national stage in pageantry. So it really inspired me,” she added.

Bayog relinquished the Limgas na Pangasinan-Mutya crown to Clare Arwen Cacal from Calasiao, who will compete in the 2026 Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant. Limgas na Pangasinan-World 2024 Lhya Yzhienne Laylo, Buenafe’s provincial successor, said “I’m actually more motivated and inspired to do more, to give my best, not just 100 percent, but my 1,000 percent for Miss World Philippines 2025.” Laylo relinquished her title to Limgas na Pangasinan-World 2025 Falicity Mamplata, who will represent the province in next year’s edition of the Miss World Philippines pageant.

Mejia had already fulfilled her duty to represent Pangasinan in the 2024 Miss Grand Philippines pageant, finishing in the semifinals in a field composed of national and international veterans. “Miss Grand Philippines is my first national pageant. And I can say that, wow, that experience was one of the best.

Girls, just come and experience the grandest stage of your life, you will never regret it. And who knows, you may bring the first ‘golden crown,'” she told INQUIRER.net.

Mejia relinquished her crown to Limgas na Pangasinan-Grand 2025 Angelica Joy Flores from Sta. Barbara, and is set to compete in the Miss Grand Philippines pageant later this year.
