MANILA, Philippines – Former president Rodrigo Duterte is now in the custody of authorities , according to a statement issued by the Philippine Communications Office (PCO) on Tuesday, March 11. Philippine National Police (PNP) officials who implemented the warrant wore body cameras, the statement said in Filipino. The Philippine government had received from the Interpol an official copy of a warrant of arrest issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Duterte.
